Dear author

Please read and follow these instructions carefully; doing so will ensure that the review and publication of your paper is as rapid and efficient as possible. The Editors reserve the right to return manuscripts that are not prepared in accordance with these instructions.

Submission

Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docs) and/or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)  files via https://ijci.journals.ekb.eg/. Instructions can be found here. Please contact one of the editorial boards for additional help with manuscript submission.

Work submitted for publication must be previously unpublished, not under consideration for publication elsewhere and, if accepted, it should not then be published elsewhere in the same form. If previously published figures, tables or parts of text are to be included, the copyright-holder's permission must have been obtained prior to submission.

Authors should supply a list of between one and three referees who would be suitable to referee the paper. Please enclose full name, email, and full postal address.

Plagiarism policy

Once a manuscript is submitted to Journal, the editorial office conducts a preliminary check with respect to plagiarism. If plagiarized content is less than 15%, the author may be asked to revise the manuscript. If substantial plagiarism (>15%) is noticed in manuscript content or part thereof, the manuscript is straight away rejected. Our reviewers also conduct the plagiarism check in a similar manner and can make recommendations on whether or not to consider the manuscript further.

How to prepare your manuscript?

Your paper must be clearly written in English. Please, carefully check your manuscript for correct grammar and spelling.

The text should be prepared on A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm) paper size.

All parts of the manuscript should be in one column format. The first part of the paper should include the title, the complete list of authors, the abstract, and the list of keywords.

The paper length should not exceed ten single-spaced one-column pages, including figures and tables. Margins of 15 mm should be left around the left, right, and bottom sides of the text. The top margin should be 23 mm.

  • The paper should include:
    • Title.

    • Author’s name(s), affiliation, and country.

    • Abstract (maximum of 250 words).

    • Keywords (maximum of six): should not simply be taken from the title of the paper but should be representative of the content of the whole paper and characteristic of the terminology used within the particular field of study.

Line illustration or camera-ready text must be of sufficient quality for publication as submitted i.e. clear, clean, sharp and of an even density. Any lettering or text should be in proportion to the rest of the figure.
